I cant even begin to describe how useful this app is. I repair classic 80s arcade games and being able to look up data sheets, ic pinouts, resistor/capacitor color codes, etc, is a life saver. Well organized, constantly updated, and one of my most used apps. It deserves more than 5 stars. Thank you developer, your continued dedication is much appreciated. *update - this app just keeps getting better. I would be lost without this app and use it constantly. I dont remember how much I paid for it, but it wasnt enough! Thanks Dev for making an app that helps me keep those classic 80s arcade games working so everyone can enjoy them.

I am a fairly new electronics enthusiast. This app has made the hobby even more enjoyable to me as it saves me from having to do tedious on line searches; it is a very comprehensive resource which, in addition to the data sheet, provides a great description of what each component is and how it can be used. This app has given me the confidence to try different approaches to projects. Well worth the price! One thing Id like to see in this app is a search history feature. Great app!

I have to agree with the other reviewers. I very recently purchased this app and have not even been thru most of it. But the Arduino part alone is worth the money. Sure there are other resistor color band calculators. But this one is right here with your other tools. To have the formula presented as well as the value of resistor for LEDs is great. And if that is not enough there is section just for formulas. For someone like me just getting back into electronics this is amazingly handy to have in my hand. And I can see it won’t be less so once I gain more experience. Thanks.

This app is without a doubt the best of all electronic tool box apps. I use it everyday at my repair bench. Always current and up to date. You need this app.

Seriously. This app has darn near anything you could want when putting together an electronics project. Performs many common calculations. A ton of reference material. Frequency generator and other tools. And the developer never rests. It just keeps getting better.

This app gets as much use on my workbench as my multimeter or oscilloscope - its become an essential tool. A huge number of references and calculations needed while bread boarding and testing circuits are here, sensibly organized, and easy to use. Support is very responsive, and the app is constantly getting new features and better performance. Thank you Marcus!

it does not reset. it only says updated successfully and then hangs up.

The variety of tools and depth of information make this an excellent addition to the hobbyists toolkit. I wish it were possible to add my own entries into the database (e.g. pinouts for 65C22, various CPLDs, etc.) but thats a quibble, given how much data and useful functionality this app contains. Marcus support for the toolbox is superior--updates come at reasonable intervals and always increase the usefulness of the app. Truly an outstanding value.

What a great product Marcus has created! Im an electronics engineering technician and find the information within this product timely and extremely useful! Recently, after the most recent update, V9.1.1, D9.01, I noticed that a release 9 pop-up banner would not clear. I tried rebooting, reinstalling, but the banner would not go away. I contacted Markus and explained the problem and within a couple of hours, the issue was resolved! On an iPad 2, running ios7.1.12, there is a bug within the ios version which affects portrait/landscape operation. I usually run apps in landscape mode, and Markus suggested portrait mode so that the whole screen was visible, including the close button. Once the banner disappeared, I could use the toolbox again! What "GREAT" customer service!!! Thank you, Marcus! (A suggestion: I would like to see a table of the most common values of through hole resistors and capacitors).
